Report linking meat consumption with deforestation

Thought I’d share this interesting report from The Union of Concerned Scientists, the  leading science-based nonprofit agency with over 400,000 scientists and citizens.   The report doesn’t state we’re all doomed unless we go vegan; rather, there should be less land and access to resources for high-maintenance meat like beef.  Instead, relying on other livestock, like chickens and pigs, for protein, would lessen the environmental impact.
